The Finest contemporary crafts can be found at Obsidian Gallery. Established in 1985, the gallery's emphasis is on the traditional craft media of clay, fiber, metal, glass and wood. Mixed media works and fine art are also occasionally shown.
Located in an elegant shopping plaza, the gallery has a regional feel; exhibitors include many artists from the Southwest who produce work that is evocative of the Southwest and its culture while retaining a contemporary and innovative quality. Artists from all over the U. S. are represented; included are well-known established artists and emerging artists.
Eight to ten exhibitons each year showcase individual artists or are invitational thematic shows.
